For this project I chose to weave together two photographs. The first is a childhood photo of my sister and I playing in the snow. My sister and I are very closed and my relationship with her has certainly helped to shape my identity over the years. The second photo is a picture of me playing in the mud during the Holi celebration on my trip to India. India was just one stop on a nine month long trip I took after high school, and many of the experiences I had on that trip still influence how I see the world today. The technique of weaving the two photos was inspired by the artist Dinh Q Le who we learned about earlier in the quarter.
