This is a recording of distant train sounds that I can hear from my dorm. At night, I can always hear the trains but not see them. That is why I chose to take a picture out a window at night. The photo is towards the directions you can hear the trains from. This sound is meaningful to me, both because it makes me feel comforted and at home, since it is the same sound every day, and because I take this train often to go to Seattle.
