I wanted to use this project to portray what will happen to national parks due to the mass firings and defunding happening due to the trump administration. Park rangers have been truly the only people holding our parks together, and now they can’t even do that due to the mass layoffs. I created this collage with the image of a park ranger “cut out” of a national park scene to bring up the question of how their absence will impact our parks from now on. I used fire as a metaphor to the impending destruction that will most likely happen from this ridiculous decision made by our government.
