Building birdhouses from recycled materials, like the one I made from an old fence, provides essential nesting sites for birds, and supports local biodiversity. This initiative aligns with recent conservation efforts, such as the reintroduction of the Hawaiian crow to Maui forests after being declared extinct in the wild. By offering safe, sustainable homes for birds, we contribute to reversing the decline of species and fostering a healthier ecosystem.
