This piece is a reflection on the recent tragedy of the California wildfires and the conversation surrounding the evacuation of the elderly and disabled. Many shared that they had not received proper assistance with evacuation and barely escaped if they were lucky. I wanted to bring attention to this issue in hopes of raising awareness. The work is a sketch made with pencil and paper.
