This piece was created in response to the recent firing of hundreds of National Parks employees around the country and my worry for the affect it will have on future visitors. I have many deeply treasured memories around those places, and this piece was creating to reminisce and mourn the future experiences that may not be possible, as well as using the physical medium of garbage as a canvas to express the way the current administration is treating the natural world.
