This project has allowed me to pause and truly appreciate my surroundings, allowing me to live in the moment. Sound is such a fascinating medium. The noises I recorded come from everyday objects in my bedroom, each one distinct yet strangely ambiguous. While I can instantly recognize what made each sound, someone else listening might only guess, drawing from their own experiences.
The collage showcases some of the items I used, which act as a visual echo of the audio. It’s interesting how something so familiar to me can become abstract to another, turning the ordinary into something open to interpretation.
