The artwork uses a mix of real plants and drawn honey bees so that a scene can be constructed with the bees pollonating the plants. The art has the seasons of the year, with Fall including a honey bee infested with an invasive species as the bee carries a cage filled with them. This leads to winter, the season associated with death in the natural world, so too did the bee colonies experience a tragic population decrease with the introduction of the invasive species. With the death of the bees, so to does food yield decrease.
