Fuck parking meters and the Bellingham parking police. I have so many parking tickets for parking outside my apartment, I know it would be cheaper to just pay for the meters but I’m in too deep and I refuse. The worst part is is that they’re inconsistent, sometimes you can get away with leaving your car there for days, in some cases weeks and other times they’re writing me a ticket after half an hour. Usually I park a few blocks away and walk but sometimes I’m tired or have groceries and that open sport right outside my apartment is so inviting.
