I Used an underexposed photo of myself and overlayed myself with a grayscale of polygons to represent an oversimplified version my form. My goal was to represent sadness as sharp and cutting, causing you to cast a shadow around you. I chose the simple pale grayscale because people often tell me I have pale skin or look sickly, I wanted to exaggerate this part of my physical Identity to add to the downcast look of the photo.
