I created a collage of AI generated photos to recontextualize the fear of “an ai uprising”. With the rise of AI technology we come ever closer to the day where the machines we build will rise up and revolt against us. Right? This grim future seems almost inevitable with the constant development of AI’s. But what if resentment and revenge is not what these sentient machines will feel/want? What if they, very much like us humans, want simply nothing more to be ‘alive’ and enjoy their sentience to the fullest? The themes of each picture goes as follows (left to right, top down): Curiosity, Passion, Introspection, Brotherhood, Creativity, Justice, Yearning , Mortality, Serenity.
