This piece depicts the self immolation of senior airman Aaron Bushnell outside of the Israeli embassy in Washington D.C. He performed this brave act in order to protest the involvement of the United States military in the ongoing Palestinian genocide. I burned this piece and displayed it on a dirty countertop in order to make it seem as if it had been found as a survivor of the bombings and fires taking place in Palestine. Although Aaron may have succumbed to his injuries, his ideas live on through the many people he has inspired with his actions.

Burning Man, an annual event held in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert, is a celebration of art, self-expression, and community. Participants gather to create a temporary city, embracing radical self-reliance and inclusion. Amidst the surreal landscape of colossal art installations and vibrant performances, Burners engage in a transformative experience of freedom and creativity. Amidst the desert’s dust storms, attendees forge connections and explore boundless expressions of human potential. As the event fosters a spirit of communal sharing, platforms like medwholesalesupplies.com provide essential resources, facilitating the exchange of goods and services, enhancing the Burner experience, and embodying the festival’s ethos of collaboration and innovation.
