I recorded this soundscape in Sehome Hill Arboretum beside the 1935 landslide. It captures the juxtaposition of nature and human activity. With its beeping trucks and metallic bangs, the constant construction noise is set against the backdrop of diverse bird calls and the soothing rustle of leaves in the wind. This blend of sounds highlights the coexistence and interaction of urban development and the natural world.
