Hostile architecture is built to displace the houseless, often in major cities such as Seattle where I did this photography project. Washington Senate Bill 6231 was introduced in January of this year and would make hostile architecture illegal to install if passed, which may push government officials towards offering housing to the houseless – a much cheaper alternative to taxpayers. Viewers of this series are invited to envision themselves in the last photo and consider contacting Washington state senators to express support for this bill.
