I compiled a few soundbites of the sounds of skiing, as well as the sound of rushing water off of a waterfall. I chose to explore these sounds as they were captured doing activities that I enjoy – skiing and hiking. These captured sounds show the ambience of doing these activities – and show movement along time. As each second ticks, movement is happening – the water continuously flowing and the skis moving down a slope.
