For my Project NOW, I chose to focus on the mass endangerment of several species of sea creatures, including the Giant Manta Ray, the Whale Shark, and the Hawksbill Turtle. These species are on the critically endangered list and their statistics are steadily decreasing. This installation was made from cardboard, plastic bags, masking tape, paper bags, and paper mache paste. Two of the three creatures seem to be fine, but the Hawksbill turtle is slowly fading away in materials, symbolizing how these animals are losing numbers.
