My project is a soundscape focusing on the Seattle music scene and the pandemic’s effect on artists. The sound is the main focus, with the image serving as accompaniment. I used heavy guitar as a reference to the history of Seattle music, used a synthesizer as a sound bed, and incorporated many samples from Seattle culture such as The Seahawk’s downtown parade when they won the Super Bowl, the Blue Angles, as well as a men’s choir.
