With this piece, I was inspired by the importance of process that we learned about in class. Lately I have been thinking a lot about how when we are born we are essentially just a blank canvas, waiting to be painted with experience. My plan was to take a clean, unmarked piece of paper from my sketch book and carry it with me for 7 days and photograph the before and after. Unfortunately, the paper was lost on the seventh day before I could take a photo of it. while I could just take another sheet of paper and crumple it up to take the picture I needed, I felt it would be inauthentic to the piece if I did.
