As Gun violence continues to be a rampant issue in this country, this piece seeks to critique the response we get from lawmakers, that thoughts and prayers are not enough and not an adequate response. They cannot bring back those we’ve lost or stitch back together the broken communities or close the wound that is gun violence with those words.
