I chose to make my project to address the government threats to further reduce the funding to higher education research programs. The efforts that universities and their students and employees put into science and innovations are so important, and as you can see from the photos in the piece we would be lesser without them (especially medically). I want to help people understand that without the government funding, scientists and students will lose their places and America will fall behind.
