For my project I wanted to show the reality of housing in America, and how the American dream of owning a home and affording housing is out of reach for many in our current economy. I lit a drawing of a house on fire, with a lighter wrapped in the American flag, and then put the images together to show how our country is not addressing the issue of the housing affordability crisis.
