In this project, I wanted to challenge the video that was posted by the White House of ASMR of immigarants being deported. I wanted to highlight the characteristics of what ASMR is suppoed to be, such as being relaxing and helping people fall asleep, all while showing that deporting immigrants is not a relaxing thing, and should not make us calm. This is a mixed media piece, that uses cut out paper, snapshots from the video, news headings, diffrent fonts, and an emphasis on the color red.
