For my project, I decided to highlight mental health issues among Gen Z and Millennials and what these generations feel is taking the greatest toll on their mental health. Through social media, I compiled a list of 5 main stressors, and within them, many suggested sub-stressors within those main categories. I interviewed 100 random Gen Z and Millennials on campus and through social media. I first asked if they felt they struggled with Anxiety or Depression. 100% of randomly-selected participants stated that they struggle heavily with Anxiety, Depression, or both. I, then, asked what they felt took the biggest toll of their mental health. The choices were: Relationships, Finances, External Pressures, Health, and Work/School. Each option contained sub-categories which are displayed within the artwork. Participants rated each subcategory by how much that specific subcategory affects their daily life (#1 being the most influential).
The way this digital artwork is organized is simple: Each category is arranged from most to least chosen, and by how many people chose those categories. Inside each category are the subcategories, which are arranged from largest font (most commonly chosen) to smallest font (least commonly chosen). I arranged my piece to resemble the Periodic Table of Elements and chose to display the results in a graph-like, color-coded, scientific manner so that a direct understanding of the results could not be ignored.
Results:
Out of 100 participants, 100 people said their lives are significantly negatively impacted by Anxiety, Depression, or both.
Relationships: 35; Intimate Partner(s), Relationship with Self, Family, Friends, Coworkers, Professors, Bosses, Children, Mentors
Finances: 34; Rent, Food, Student Loans, Medical Bills, Children, Pets, Car Loans, Extra Curricular Activities
External Pressures: 12; Family Expectations, Gender Roles, Society, Fear of Failure, Fear of Punishment, Fear of Success, Opinions of Others, Aging
Health: 10; Mental and Emotional Health, Fitness/Body Image, Health of a Loved One, Eating Disorders, Addictions, Disease, Chronic Pain
Work/School: 9; Work-Life Balance, Unsure of Desired Career Path, Feeling Stuck in Career, Underpaid, Job Expectations and Homework, Unsure of Major

It sounds really interesting! Currently, I’m working on a similar project because this theme is interesting to me. As students, we need to prioritize our mental health and advocate for better mental health resources in our schools. Honestly, this task isn’t easy for me, so sometimes I go to https://paperell.net/write-my-research-paper, a resource where I can ask to write a research paper for me on this particular topic. This really helps me because I can get up-to-date information within a short time. This research project on mental health issues among Gen Z and Millennials shows how important it’s to address mental health in education.

In fact, searching for a job always causes additional stress. LinkedIn is a social network for business communication, searching for employees and open vacancies. Therefore, the list of your LinkedIn friends will most likely not include your former classmates, but colleagues from different places of work and HR people from different companies.
