Sounds of different cars that I’ve encountered throughout my life. I wanted this project to encompass the loud and aggressive noises that cars produce, rather than the peaceful and calm ambience that many people associate with when going for a drive.
The purpose of this project is to raise awareness about the upcoming “cicadapocalypse”, in which trillions of cicadas will be emerging from the ground this summer in the Eastern US. Many people are worried about having to deal with the cicadas and some consider them harmful. My project highlights the benefits they bring to the environment, such as soil aeration, being a major food source, and providing nitrogen to the soil.
