I explored hybridity through sea creature imagery (particularly cuttlefish and jellyfish) and sexually reclaiming my body while existing outside of it. I also wanted to explore the concept of rebirth, immortality and its connections to the ocean.
PTLA let me and my roommates move into Viking Gardens knowing our unit had a flea infestation. They just want student money and don’t care about protecting their tenants.
