I made this piece out of inspiration by the funding freeze that was placed on USAID last week. I adapted the USAID logo to have a middle finger sticking out to symbolize its disregard for the affected people.
This soundscape is comprised of audio from my voicemail inbox. I layered me playing guitar and my drum machine over it in GarageBand. The image is me and my best friend playing music.

It really isn’t an issue of fervent contention. I just wish they’d be more conscientious regarding the machine’s high demand.
