I combined 4 sounds together that I recorded which include the wind, water running, running my fingers up and down the window blinds, and running my hands up and down on my wooden book shelf. These four sounds together remind me of the beach and the ocean, with which the wind is howling, almost whispering in your ear, and the ocean is rolling in tremendously.
This is a collage I based off Salvador Dalí’s diptych called, “Couple With Their Heads Full of Clouds” 1936, and I added gold glitter glue and black, purple, and red beads representing social media wrapping our heads and decreasing our mental health. The two heads represent young adults who are entranced in social media and technology and are wrapped up in their minds and tend to self isolate and limit their in person interactions with other people.
