My photo was inspired by Aaron Siskind’s black-and-white photography. When I was in Cannon Beach for spring break I saw this kite flying in the sky. In Aaron Siskind’s work, he utilizes light and dark shading from light so the white clouds in contrast to the darker-colored butterfly pop more.
