Internal Self is a self portrait that presents my perception of my body and identity. A big part of my identity is that I am nonbinary and have trouble with the actual shape of myself which is why below the collarbone is rather vague. Center pieced in the middle is a depiction of organs from a torso that works as a way to not be perceived in aspects of gender.
Reading, crafts and my stubbornness are what have kept me sane for the last 5 years. Having long projects and books to keep me busy and grounded in between hearing about “once in a lifetime events.”
