Category Studio Project: SoundScape
This is a recording of my time in Athens Greece, I was so enamored by the sound of the music and the people dancing in the street. It seemed so different from my own life here in the United States.
This is a soundscape that is meant to capture the mundane feeling of the every day life, the feeling that you get when you do the same thing almost every day.
This is a conversation between my friend Sarah and I. We love talking about the events that are happening at work, sometimes it is gossiping sometimes it is silly little conversations like this one. She is moving away soon and I will miss these conversations.
I decided to focus this project on the sounds of a coffee shop while studying. Observing how everyone engages in their activities for different reasons is fascinating. I enjoy listening to the various sounds and noticing how they evolve.
This cat is not mine, but she has found a way to weasel herself into my daily life nonetheless. These are the sounds of the interactions between Junebug and I.
