Channel 37

Approximately 6 randomly selected seconds from each of the first US theatrical trailer of nine films I consider formative to my life. Some clips are widely and easily identifiable, such as Belle (of Beauty and the Beast fame) singing the song by the same name, and may evoke memories of childhood or a trip to Disneyland. Others, like a conversation between the villains of _The Chipmunk Adventure_ as they discuss their plans to trick Alvin and the Chipmunks to smuggle diamonds, likely mean nothing to anyone but me (who happily watched the film over and over) or my immediate family (who less-happily watched the film over and over).

This is a recording on campus. It is me walking from the map room inside the library outside to the bike racks by the VU. Alongside this recording you will hear people talking as well as the encampment going outside of the library.

Morning Snack (take 2)
