Since starting college, I’ve been feeling pulled in a lot of different directions, academically and with my own identity, and I carry mixed emotions about the unknown and the future ahead of me.
Internal Self is a self portrait that presents my perception of my body and identity. A big part of my identity is that I am nonbinary and have trouble with the actual shape of myself which is why below the collarbone is rather vague. Center pieced in the middle is a depiction of organs from a torso that works as a way to not be perceived in aspects of gender.
