NWFASA

This is a photo taken at the most recent Northwest Filipino American Student Alliance meeting, and the group seen in the photo are some of the members of the “Kapwa” leadership board for NWFASA. In the recording, the group laughs… Continue Reading →

Watch Out For The Train

WEAR HEADPHONES FOR BETTER AUDIO!!!! Graffiti in the train tunnels, sounds of walking into the tunnel, graffitiing, an oncoming train, and the rush of adrenaline while running out of the tunnel and hearing the train pass by.
Had to cut it down from 3 minutes to 1. Also we were not the ones who graffitied the ‘kill all rapists’ text on the train tracks. I just thought the message was pretty powerful.

Between Sets

Bus

The bus has a unique sound. I never really got to ride a public bus before I moved to the dorms, now I take them all the time. So I thought I’d use it for this project.

Paying in Coins

Working on art in a cafe only to pay using nothing but coins. All sounds from freesound.org. Edited on Audacity.

Everyday Harmonies

I found this image online after searching for one that met my requirements. The theme of my soundscape was “satisfying sounds of everyday appliances,” so the cover image had to include a close-up, aesthetic shot of household items like a… Continue Reading →
