The genre of videos are on the medium of the internet, game consoles, handhelds and phones. Again, many topics but some main ones include; shooters, sports games rpg’s and almost all game revolve around some sense of action. The “writers” are the game developers, voice actors and everyone else who was involved with making the game, stores carrying the games and many more. The “readers” of video games are mostly the people playing them but also include the people who see the ads for the games, and anyone who is around when the game is getting played. Video games exist as a source of entertainment and in more extreme cases can be used to make a living.

Games content usually revolve around the player so there is usually more actually playing than plot and story telling. This is not always true in the case some games have very in-depth story lines and are almost like an interactive movie. Video games use pathos and connect us emotionally to the characters we play as because we subconsciously think of those characters as ourselves. Text in video games come in the form of menus, credits and maybe subtitles. Unless there are subtitles, the text is usually one word to help you navigate the menus with words such as ‘quit’ or ‘resume’. Most games have a ‘story mode’ so they tend to have a script. Games usually use slang and jargon that pertains to the particular game. for example, in Madden they will use football jargon but in Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, they use ancient Greek slang and jargon because it is based in that time period.

In order to enjoy a game fully, it helps a lot to be literate in using a controller so you can focus on the game itself rather than the controls. Games are usually inviting to teens, people who enjoy video games, sports fans and other groups. They tend to exclude older people or just those who cannot play video games very well. The players enjoyment and challenging the player are the most important things in a video game.

Jump Force is a fighting game that incorporates many different anime characters and faces then against each other. It includes the likes of Goku, Vegeta, Frieza and other famous anime characters.
