Summary/Integration:
This site has great lesson plans for any grade. There are three aligned for 5th graders. Each lesson builds on the previous and with each lesson, there are a collection of activities and supports provided. The lessons are seamless and are laid out down to every detail and content standards. The key draw of this resource making it the best I found was the connection, it provided for each student’s life. It is not just stories and scenarios about others, but students are given the opportunity to gather data on themselves, graph and organize the data, and even act out skits about proper personal sleep hygiene. The data gathering and diagram/graph organization could lend its way to a math integration.
