Smoking and Heart Disease

Smoking-related heart disease is a very preventable cause of death. Through your habits and lifestyle choices you can make the steps in the right direction to lower your risk of heart disease. While e-cigarettes seem like a great alternative to smoking, they could potentially be just as harmful. Do your own research on e-cigarettes and be aware of the true risks. Remember, life is unexpected and anything can happen at any moment, so don’t make choices that will cut your life any shorter.

  1. Great job guys! I did not know that as soon as you stop smoking your risk for a heart attack decreases so quickly. Video flows nicely!

  2. I really liked the opening into your video with asking the question and then stating the fact. I think the video had a very serious tone which is needed for heart disease. good job!!

  3. I think it’s awesome that your heart can begin to repair and reduce the risk of heart disease just 2-3 weeks after cessation of smoking. Nicely done

  4. I really liked the information that was provided in this PSA. The reiteration on E-cigarettes was really great as it is a hot issue. It would have been nice to see some live footage however, but there was still a good impact.

  5. I like how you tied together smoking and heart disease because I feel many people don’t think smoking affects their heart. This is another good way to increase the awareness of the harmful effects of cigarettes.

  6. The smoking facts were a good reminder, and addressing e-cigarets is important too! I think putting in filming instead of just pictures would have made it more interesting. Great facts though!

  7. I liked this because of how short and sweet it was. The cheering audio was a great touch, and I loved that it as included. I think that it would be very successful in the public and people would take to it. You did a great job guys!!!
