Traction coaches are selected to be a team to support student development. We want your unique attributes AND ability to collaborate and communicate well with others. To be a traction coach, you need to place a high priority on communication and collaboration. You will learn, grow and stretch in this experience!
ENTR 398
Traction coaches must successfully complete ENTR 398 before the beginning of the academic year or period in which they seek to be a traction coach. There may be opportunities mid-year traction coach positions.
AVAILABILITY
WEEKLY:
Traction coaching is a commitment of approximately 8-12 hours of work per week, varying based on time in quarter and student needs.
We will meet as a team each week for 1.5 hours, at a mutually agreeable time. There will also be planning prep, grading and communication (through teams and in person) to support your role.
ORIENTATION
Our traction coaches participate in a mandatory orientation and team development workshop for several consecutive days before the beginning of fall quarter. This will be fun, engaging and crucial to our ongoing work to grow an ever-better community of innovative changemakers.
We may also have one or several mid-year retreats as we wrap up quarters, time tbd by team.

Several for-credit positions for up to 5 credits. Granted at upper-level coursework.
1-2 teaching assistantship with potential for scholarship or pay.
