Setting the Standard: Example VP2s
In WWU’s E+I Programs we believe in encouraging students to reach for success. As entrepreneurs and change-makers being sent from academia into the world to leave your positive mark, it will be necessary for students to reach beyond normal, average, or even meeting expectations. This affects how we grade projects in E+I. If a student meets all the required expectations we have laid out, they will receive a “B” on the assignment. This can feel jarring at first, but it is our way of pushing students to reach for innovation and creativity. We hope students ask, “how might we go above and beyond or set the standard with our work?”. Each of the following projects has done exactly that. These are examples of student work from each E-Level for students to look at as a reference as they work through their next venture projects.
Also, a big shout-out to all the students from the teaching team! This list represents some of the best work from truly stellar quarters of work. We are so proud to experience this community’s growth and watch as we collectively produce more amazing work than the quarters before.
