As a team, we (Sarah Seeberger & Alysa Gallant) have founded and built the beginnings of CO.CO Market. CO.CO Market is a local, artisan, and sustainable community collaborative where gifting meets community support. CO.CO Market was created through Alysa’s passion to create sustainable handmade goods, as well as Alysa and Sarah’s joint interest to keep money within the community to support local mutual aids as well as Bellingham’s local creatives. As our passions and individual skills came together, CO.CO Market was born.
During and because of this pandemic, people in our community are in need of support. Many people have lost their jobs and sources of income, and are turning to their creative passions and communities for support. Now more than ever, people are looking to keep their money local and choose a sustainable and equitable option. CO.CO Market strives to innovate a platform that is unique to both creatives and Bellingham locals. We want to build an easily accessible online marketplace where Bellingham locals can shop an array of local creatives all in one marketplace.
