Simplicity is an app created to help users with cognitive disabilities, such as ADHD or Alzheimer’s, keep track of their daily to-do lists while assisting with daily self-care and time management. What started out as the brain-child of a group with two students with ADHD grew into an app which simply asked the question: “What reminders and goals does the individual user need help with?” We recognize that not everyone has the same disability and not everyone handles their disability the same way which lead us to making our app highly customizable.
Our target market is those dealing with a cognitive disorder, but we also believe this app is useful for anyone with anything to remember!
Our app has 4 main goals:
- Compilation – Combines information from Canvas, Teams, emails, to-do lists, appointments, etc.
- Learn from you – Times activities and suggests time blocks for similar activities
- Customizable – Users can personalize the visual layout and individual experience
- Accessibility – Simplicity is geared towards those with disabilities but is helpful for everyone
