This image shows our final prototype iteration for the MonoLit. We generated two different modes for users to choose between. A cool mode that mimics sunlight and a warm mode that encourages a restful mindset.
Project Summary:
Our team embarked on a challenge to develop an accessible, inclusive tool for students. After many rounds of surveys, interviews and evidence gathering we created The MonoLit. Our team worked together to develop BICs, a BMC, a VPC, a SWOT analysis, and a PESTLE analysis. We also gathered interviews and survey data as evidence to support the prototype we designed. Our goal was to create an all-inclusive, accessible device for students by students. By developing empathy for a customer market that are students just like us we created a lamp that includes a bluetooth speaker, a diffuser, and a charging port. We also included both voice control and tactile buttons for users with varying abilities.
