Our team set out to create a fashionable and functional Halloween costume that can be worn without sacrificing warmth or aesthetics, which led us to creating the Scare-Away! The design consists of tearaway pants and a transformable jacket backpack. Once torn away and stored, the outer layers of the costume reveal bike shorts and a tank top for a more breathable costume for warmer climates. After many rounds of interviews and ideating, we found this to be the most innovative, problem-solving costume we could think of.
