For our VP1 this quarter, we decided to create an ad campaign and an optional membership program for Winco. Our goals were to raise student awareness of Winco and to give them more of an incentive to choose Winco for their grocery shopping needs. Our research found that 68% of Western students face food insecurity and that a majority of students were unaware of Winco’s existence, let alone their more affordable prices.
