Project Summary – Yummy Tummy is an interactive social network of local community members, and local eateries, where they can discuss, rate, and share accommodation options at local eateries. We will do this by creating a way to select what restrictions/preferences the user has, or is looking for, and filter out local options with ratings and reviews from other users. Users who have an experience they would like to recommend can post and share and tag specific restrictions that menu item fits under to categorize it for other users. Local eateries can interact with the app as well by updating their accommodating options and applying proper filters to their menu items. Users can search for accommodating options that are accessible to their needs in their local area, and learn about what their fellow community members’ experiences were like when visiting these places. The goal of our app is to help make the experience of eating out more accessible to everyone involved and easier as well. We want to relieve the stressors that come with eating out for those who have dietary restrictions/preferences.
