As a consulting team we aimed to collaborate with immersive art company Meow Wolf and bring creativity and immersive realities to the literature world. Specifically, the #1 bookseller in the United States, Barnes & Noble. Imagine the nostalgic memories of the children’s section of Barnes and Noble x1000. We want to create that same incredible feeling and bring it to all of our Barnes and Noble guests 🙂
Our Vision: To collaborate with artists and Meow Wolf to bring an immersive storytelling experience to guests that walk into Barnes and Noble. By hosting events where Barnes and Noble is decorated with artistic themed environments. Our customers are guided into a world of imaginations, whether it be futuristic cyber sci-, or magical fantasy, or a serene fairy tale, or a hero’s courageous journey, our events will surely have our customers leaving with a re-colored imagination and their new books. When they read the book bought at Barnes and Noble, they’ll be rereminded of the scenery they experienced at our stores. We will also provide workshops where our customers will discover their passion, or books that will assist them in their self-improvement journey.

Our FAV post prototype interview quotes!
“YESSS!! I get bored easily in bookstores and this sounds really entertaining. Like a real life movie.”
“I would buy all the posters with the new rebranding. I truly love this rebrand and collab.”
“I definitely feel like it will inspire me to read and explore bookstores! I think that bringing the experience that reading is fun can inspire a lot of people to read as well!”
“The rebranding does inspire me to go to more bookstores because it exemplifies the added benefit of going to a store to purchase books as opposed to online.”
“I would rather have bookstores with attention grabbing details. I really enjoy something new. If I wanted to have a quite experience, I would be in my room. If I’m out I want to interact about the books, we are reading. These are amazing moments. I prefer a more loud and immersive experience, rather than a quite one.”
