The research in this project was collected through the use of an online survey. This survey was distributed by email and in class for students as Western Washington University and Norhtwest Christian Schools. The responses we received gave us the data we needed. We decided to use the method of purely surveys because they gave us the ability to ask direct questions that gave us the responses we needed. This method also provided a way for the class to continue without too much interference from us. If we had been able to conduct our research over an extended period of time, we would have liked to use short interviews at the beginning and end of our research period to see the development of language learning in progress. As we were only given a few weeks in which to collect our data, we decided to stay with our online survey.
