This means that we can start to engaged with Mothman and the community of Point Pleasant in a completely new way. We may not be there to take a selfie with this beautiful statue, but it takes almost no time at all for us to pull up this live camera and find out the weather in Point Pleasant. We can see people living their daily lives—and even when these lives don’t revolve around Mothman, they’re still in relation to him. Much of the identity of Point Pleasant is assembled around Mothman and these events that conspired 1966-1967.
