Six current WWU Photography students gave a presentation for Scholars Week 2018 under the theme of “Explorations and Definitions of Contemporary Photography.” With the convention of digital technologies and the idea that everyone is a photographer, the panel presented recent projects and discussed notions surrounding “what is a photographer?” And how photography being used in the context of studio art practice.
