Washington Trails Association’s annual photo contest is almost over. As it draws to a close, there’s still time to take this opportunity to show off those summer and early fall photos you are especially proud of. There are five categories to submit to: Trailscapes, Hikers in Action, Trail Family, Flora and Fauna, and Instagram.
There is a limit of five photos per photographer and all photos must follow Leave No Trace principles, which every hiker (beginner or expert) should know! You can learn the seven principles of Leave No Trace here. Winners of the contest will receive prizes and have their work featured in WTA’s annual calendar and online.
To submit to the Instagram category, follow @washingtontrails and tag your hiking photos with #nwexposure2020 between August 17, 2020 and October 18, 2020.
