Fall marks the end of the summer season and the transition into winter. The changes in color, temperature, and daily life can be a challenge for many people, myself included. Dark and cold nights might fill you with dreariness, whilst cozy lights and comfort food might make you feel warmth and appreciation. Fall seems to have more complex layers than any other season, which is quite inspiring. In my opinion, fall is one of the best seasons to get out there and take photos as these “fall moods”  are so prevalent and strike certain feelings in individuals.

There are certain feelings that arise when I see a cozy coffee shop, or likewise a dark foggy field. The vibrant colors of fall and the distinct moods it brings out inspire me to create and capture! That is why I have compiled a list of photography resources including tips, advice, and tutorials to encourage you to capture these beautiful moods and enhance your fall photos!

Equally as important is where to take these photos…..

Well, if you are located in Bellingham I’ve got you covered with all the coolest places to explore and view those beautiful deciduous trees that change to their iconic yellows, oranges, reds, and everything in between!

In Washington, the prime time to see the most vibrant foliage is around mid-October early November so get out there and take some beautiful photos while it lasts!
